driver side, above and just behind (toward cab) of the power steering.

how about the other Vin locations... is the door and the frame the only two, or is there one somewhere that I'm missing... and what do you do if the door plate vin number is beginning to get illegible?

it is also stamped on the drivers side in between the cab mounts on top of the rail

I believe the location varies by year. On my 68 it was under the cab.

The 72 frame I shortened is also under the cab, drivers side, toward the rear of the cab.
