bench seat swap

i have a 67 1 ton flatbed i want to change out the bench seat for a 88 though 98 60/40 bench. Has anyone done this ? does it bolt right up or did you have to modifiy?

Mine is not a 60/40 split, but its a bench seat from a 91 .The front holes lined up but I had to drill new 2 new holes for the back bolts.

Here's mine out of a 95 tahoe... i've done some mods to it. I actually set the passenger side in it tonight and noticed the front holes will line up on each side but the back and all the center bolts will have to be drilled.

did you use 67-72 brackets - i would love more info in these i have a second row and it looks similiar out of a 99 burb

The newer bench should clear up some legroom for ya too. Great for us taller fellas.

It's a front seat. I haven't installed it yet. I'm waiting to do all the wiring then I'll install it. I went to a junk yard and cut out the wiring I need to wire in with my wiring.
