Talking Track times

I'm interested in seeing how everyone's truck performs. So if you have ran your truck at the track please post your ET and MPH.

Hmm . . . with my lil' 305, a sun dial would be the most acurate way to time it.

Well, it's kinda hard to run you rtruck at the trak when you have an oil leak. Besides, the 4.3 is running on its last leg. Whenever I get the 350 in there I will post times. So be patient.

how do you convert 1/8 mile into 1/4 mile times? Ive never ran either, but it would be interesting to see what other people who only have 1/8mile times would run.

you can convert them but I dont feel its accurate at all. There are too many variances that can take place.

Multiply 1/8 mile ET by 1.57 to get 1/4 mile ET.

I ran my truck when I was in HS. 11.XX 1/8th mile with one tire spinnin', both pipes smokin', and 8 cylinders knockin'

I was so embarrassed that I went home. Haven't had it back since. I did manage to pull a 9.847 @ 71.5mph in my '01 Sierra C3 though...I miss that truck I traded it in on my '02 Camaro.
