Covan's dash bezels?
I'm getting ready to order one of the Covans gauge bezels Monday and a set of Autometer phantom gauges. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a more economical solution before I did. I'm looking at $250 just for the bezel and that seemed kinda steep to me. Is there anybody else making a bezel for aftermarket gauges besides Covans and the aluminum ones that LMC sells (which I would have to modify) Thanks!!

Re: Covan's dash bezels?
you do know you can buy the autometer gauges and they will pop right into the stock gauge holes. the only major thing you would have to do is reinforce the back of the stock gauge bezel with like 30 gauge steel or something. I want to do the same thing but with ultra lite gauges. the covans kit is like 1000 bucks but if you buy the gauges separately it should come out to about 650. a 5in speedo and tach should fit in the larger holes and 2 5/8th gauges should fit the other 4

Re: Covan's dash bezels?
I think that's a stock bezel with the gauges mounted to it.

Re: Covan's dash bezels?
My buddy bought the Covan's dash and we wired in some crappy Auto lite guages. Guage wiring overall isn't hard. The hardest part was tracing the stock sender lines. Autometer's have good installation drawings so it's not bad.

Re: Covan's dash bezels?
Painless wiring makes a harness for your gauges, don't think it is too expensive either.

Re: Covan's dash bezels?
Covans bezel fits like crap, you won't be happy. You can build your own setup, and it will look 10x better and might even be cheaper. Check out the link below for several different dash cluster tech articles.
