Coils! My truck rides smooth and I like it, freeway is pretty comfy. I have a c/10 but according to my options list I have Heavy Duty coils front and rear. I think I remember someone saying they are pretty much just 3/4 ton springs.

I have both, and prefer the coils....one drive shaft on the SS as I call the short box stepside....

My SWB with leafs runs a 2 piece.

Leaf spring is correct. Looked it up on wiki

Both. My 69 leaf spring shorty came with a 2 piece of crap that fell out on my way to a job interview. Still got the job but I was about 30 minutes late.
I swapped it out for a thick gauge one piece.
