highlift jack problems
i dont know if this is the correct forum or not, if not please move it to the correct one...anyway i'm trying to rotate my tires and i have to get it done soon...but im having problems keeping the jack stable when the tires leave the ground...any hints?....also im not sure where to jack it up in the front at...im thinking i should get a floor jack for the front...but idk....any ideas, advice, or solutions would be very much appriciated...thanks justin =)

Use a floor jack centered right under the pumpkins, front and rear. After you get it in the air, make sure to place jack stands under each side of the truck, right on the solid tube part of the axle housings. I don't recommend using a highlift jack when removing wheels.

Working under a truck with a "High Lift" Jack for support is not a GOOD idea. Those things were the top deal many years ago and every farmer, rancher, and mud nut owns one. They work in a pinch for anything from getting out of a rocky hole to strectching barbed wire fence. I would not work under one in a shop, without a set of jack stands.

thanks alot guys...i was kind of sceptical at first but my bad judgement got the best of me....also thanks for showing me a place to jack it up at...that has been fooling me for quite some time...
