dana 60 u-bolt plate question
are the dana 60 u-bolt plates/ sway bar (front diff) any different than a big tube 44 front u-bolt plates/sway bar ? i have a set of u-bolt plates and sway bar in storage off a late 70s one ton 4x4 and was curious if there is any difference. i remember several years ago i checked on a set for a big tube 44 and about crapped myself when the dealer quoted me nearly 200 bucks for the pair.

Re: dana 60 u-bolt plate question
I think the passenger side is different. The dana 60 only uses 1 u bolt on the pass side. The inboard mount is threaded in the pumpkin and the holes are not as wide as the u bolt. I guess you could slot out the dana 44 plate to make it work though.

Re: dana 60 u-bolt plate question
Dana 60 and dana 44 spring plates. the second are from a 72 era truck, the first from a mid 80s K30

Re: dana 60 u-bolt plate question
thanks for the replies, looking at the pics it appears the 60 plates are definitly larger.
