Welcome to the board neighbor! Where in Riverside are you located? I am off of Victoria/Harrison.
As far as I know, this stuff is not reproduced. Keep an eye out for that stuff here, it comes up for sale in the parts section. If you become a subscribing member, you can post a wanted-to-buy ad there as well.

Re: bedside tool/storage box
WELCOME!..to the world of forums.Especially this one.
A guy in Florida reproduced the doors back in the early`90s in fiberglass. It was and excellent piece.Unfortunately he may have been ahead of his time and discontinued them after the first run.A good door is a rare find. Most caught road grime and rotted out.

Re: bedside tool/storage box
rusted ones that still work bring in decent money.... good ones.... cost more than some of my trucks did.

Re: bedside tool/storage box
Your best source is looking for the parts used.I just bought a door about a month ago that was listed in the parts area of this website. You should keep checking there...Good luck.

Definately check the parts section. You never knew what might pop up. Good luck with your hunt...

Re: bedside tool/storage box
Good info here. I have a line on a very solid bed to replace the rust monster on my '71. I wasn't looking for a bed with a tool box, but this bed happens to have one. It is missing the door so I'll have to think about that. I have seen a door on the bay once or twice, but up til now I haven't paid any attention to what they go for.

Re: bedside tool/storage box
Maybe Corvetteman10 and I will get into an eBay bidding war! I'll have to make sure I can swing the deal on the bed before I try and replace the door. The price is right for the bed, but we just moved and things are slow at work and yadda, yadda, yadda...
