Gonna look at this front clip for sale
I have zero welding skills and the seller says this front clip is rust free and the only flaws are dings in the original grill. He's asking 250 obo. Think this will be a case of too good to be true? Only pic he had and I've tried to get more, not even sure if it's still for sale.

Better yet, Just look at the back of the fenders and see if they look unusual. If everything looks fine whine about the grille not being great and offer them $175.

The last "rust free" clip I went to look at was far from rust free. If it is truly rust free it's not a bad deal.

Definitely check the front, bottom of the right fender, below the battery box with a magnet, along with the rear bottoms of the fenders, like BHyatt said.

Re: Gonna look at this front clip for sale
Update : I went and checked out this front clip and it honestly was as the seller said. Rust free. Sure there was a little surface rust here and there on the inside of the fenders but it wasn't down in the corners or anything. I did bring a magnet and ran it down the fenders and it stayed attached at all times. Even the radiotor support was in great shape...would need sand blasted to get gunk old paint and surface rust off. The grill did have a few dings in it that I had already planned on going with a different front grill anyways so it was fine. Honestly, I was really amazed at how clean this clip was, considering a had one heck of a time dismantling my other parts truck and ended up just taking a cutting wheel to most of it just to get it off. So, I purchased it for $200 flat. The guy was a young guy too in his early 20s and was really cool and is giving me time to round up a truck and trailor. I'm really happy because the money I'm saving from not buying brand new replacement parts is going to go towards a new large air compressor and a starter welder.

Re: Gonna look at this front clip for sale
^ Good looking out! I'll have to see if I can round up some friends to see if they wanna go. Could only take $500 bucks with me, maybe I'd get luck and see something I couldn't live w/o!
