A newbie from Maine........

..........just wanted to say hello, I already love this site. It is set up almost exactly like the Moparts site that I live on. (Any Mopar nuts here??) I hope to add info when I can, I have been a bodyman for about 25 years, and I am also a fair mechanic. My '71 Cheyenne is part of my collection, it is from NC and is almost ready to put back together. Thanks, and take care!

Re: A newbie from Maine........

As a fellow Mainer, I can tell you there are no good parts up here for our trucks. I have been making semi-annual trips to Virginia to visit the junk yards down there for the "good stuff" My 70 K20 is still being taken appart in the garage and will hopefully go together next year. I posted an ad in the Uncle Henrys and got about 75 calls about extra stuff that I had laying around. Also Jon at Tri-Pro in New Jersey likes to get Moxie when you go pick up repair panels from him.

Thank you all, I appreciate it! Hey Navysnipe, you must have been to Ayotte's in your travels?? Now THERE is some rust! Love it there still, it's like a museum.

Re: A newbie from Maine........

I haven't been to Ayotte's but I have cruised the yards by Freeport. After what I saw I won't do it again. Rust isn't the word it's more like cancer. I had to order some cab supports from Californis....well worth it.
