Need help to ID a truck
A friend of mine is looking for a project truck and found one that is in nice shape but there is not paper work or vin tag and the guy wants $400 so I got the block number is 014 and thats 74-76 350 but what was the first year of HEI because it has points

HEI came out in 74 its prolly a compillation of several vehicles made into one... Id be very careful buying this without documentation ... it could lead to a whole heap of financial and legal troubles for your friend

All my shop manuals say HEI came out in 1975. My old 74 truck was all original and had points...

its a short box frame a great cab and a nice front end it will be just parts
