worked on my door solenoids today. The originals that came with the kit where to wimpy even after I doubled the length of the lever. So I went from 15lbs of pull to 30lbs and now am at 150 in-lbs. Shouldn't have a problem now.

little comparison

both sides-

I drilled out the middle hole on the solenoid to pass a 3mm bolt through

bolted in the interconnect pivot piece.

both sides made

so in the end I have no cables to stretch on me and leave me stranded and all the heavy forces are contained within the latch so no bent sheet-metal.

I saw somewhere that you mentioned you "reverse-sectioned" your rear fenders so you could be that low. Any pics of this? Did you just do the front so it'd line up with the running boards or did you do front and back? Thanks!

I stretched the front of the rear fenders. Then stretch the bed when I made a new one.

yeah it was at scrapin'.

anyone know where the coverage for scrapin is at? I cant find any...

Truck looks incredible love the color. Have you thought of painting the engine covers body color? I think it would look sharp.

been working on the engine covers

all sanded up

filled the chevrolet with bondo

glass'd the whole cover

then I lost it and decided to change them up alot. decided to build out the corner of the passenger side cover and cap off the ends.

decided to do some paint work on them as well and throw on a classic scallop.

start to finish is something like 20hrs, crazy for freakin engine covers.
