The later ones fit with a little coaxing. I have used the ones for 73 and up diamond plate ones by taking a 2x4 and rubber mallet to form the tailgate protector a little narrower so they fit fine. I have the full tailgate with caps that work well also.

Near Rochester...Thanks, Yeah this tailgate protector worked out very well. Adds more chrome too...I love it!! Here's a few more shots...Yeah, It's a beautiful truck. I've been trying to get a hold of Josh-Administrator (chevy69@grandecom.net) to ask him questions about being a Site Supporter here. I read the details and it said being a Site Supporter enables one to be able to sell parts?...I'm wondering if being a site supporter will enable me to list this truck here for sale? However, He has not responded to two e-mails + a PM as of yet...It's been nearly a month since my first e-mail I sent to him. Hmmm. If anyone knows why or if there's anyone else here I can contact about this, please let me know....Thanks, Bob
