New acquisitions...I have the disease

I've been meaning to post about the dump truck for a while, but now I have two to post about. Both are obviously long term projects/yard trucks

The dump truck is a 71 with a straight 6. It has been worked hard and had a cracked frame that was not repaired correctly. It cracked down the middle and sagged horribly. The PO did a decent job repairing the frame, but did not jack the truck up to make it level again before he welding it all back together with reinforcements. Not bad for a $300 truck though. Runs great, just need to get the brakes working.

The blazer is a 70 (so he says). Been sitting since it was parked in 1979. Has a 350 in it with only 10,000 miles on it. Body has some issues, but frame is near mint. I bought it basically for the top. The hatch on it is perfect, as the whole top was stored indoors and is basically brand new. Drivetraine is complete. Also got some buckets out of the deal. Windshield frame is in great shape too! I'll either use it for parts on my 71 K5 or restore it. Paid $450 for this one.
