Engine Removal 81' C10
I have a 1981 C10 that came with a straight 6 and three on the tree. I recently got a 350 from a 1981 Blazer to replace the straight six. I plan to run the old three on the tree with a new clutch assembly and flywheel. Should I go ahead and pull the tranny out with the motor or leave the tranny in place?
Thanks, Jed

I would also take the front clip off it makes it a lot easier and also a good cleaning and fresh coat of paint on the engine bay

Thanks! The tranny is coming out with the old 300000 plus miles straight six for the first time.
Thanks again. Jed
