Front Steering Knuckle Leaking Grease;LMC Doesn't Show Part?
Who has a seal for the ball or steering knuckle right next to the wheel? It is leaking grease which drips on my tire which then throws it everywhere. I can't find it in my LMC catalog or my Classic Truck Parts Cat. Any suggestions on who might have it? (69 3/4 4x4)
Thanks, Brent |

i've only seen those with new ball joints. you may be able to find those at a local parts house, maybe in the Help! section or so

I think he is referring to the closed knuckle on the axle. maybe these guys can help www.bjsoffroad.com click on axle parts then closed knuckle front ends.

sounds like a good time to swap that closed knuckle axle out for a disc brake diff.

I thought it looked like a narrow rubber seal on the outside, but I may need the felt as well. I will pull it and let you know.
Thanks for all the help, guys! This forum is amazingly helpful! |
