WTB Evap emissions filter - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

As stated in title I need an evaporative emissions filter assembly for a 1971/1972 truck. This is the plastic can with three hoses attached that tucks in the right fender next to the battery tray. Ant help is greatlt appreciated.

i believe that i still have mine from my '72. let me check tonight. i know it will need the little "filter" in it, but the bracket is in exellent powder coated shape. if i still have it then i will let you have the canister for just "buying" the bracket.... i have pics as well that i will post in here if i still have it....

I am interested in seeing pics. Needs to be in decent shape(not necessarily perfect) as it is going on my wifes restored 72 3/4 ton 4x4 Suburban. Thanks for the replys!

sorry i have not got a chance to check for it, a small family issue came up & had to deal with it. i will check tonight & post pics. i am mainly just wanting to get something for the bracket that i had powder coated. thank you for your patience......

i have the powder coated bracket, but i think i threw out the canaster (one of those cleaning frenzies...lol!) so if you are interested i will sell the bracket to you for $7 plus shipping.... just let me know, either way no biggie!
