Re: Car Show Pics.....umm......of Trucks!

I did see one car that really stood out, this body style is one of my favorites. Not a truck, but sweet!! The gold Chevy Fleetline in the top right corner is a buddies car, bagged and very clean.

Do you know the guy with the 67-68 stepside burnt orange? I think I saw that truck in Stillwater OK a year ago.

Re: Car Show Pics.....umm......of Trucks!

That was the first time that I had seen the truck, and didn't see the owner around it. This show happens every Saturday night and normal attendance is 150+ cars & trucks. I will surely see it again and will have to ask.

Cool pictures thanks for posting. I went to niftee fiftees last summer and had a blast. Haven't gone back though, mainly because it is on the complete oppossite side of Houston from me. We have a free cruise night here in Pearland on Fridays and one at the Hooters off of nasa road one on saturday. Between those I stay pretty busy. Neither one is as large as niftee fiftees but both are bringing in about 100 or so vehicles per night.

I heard there were 400+ at the show last Saturday. Can't wait to get my ride done so I can bump the number by one!

Re: Car Show Pics.....umm......of Trucks!

Yeah I have heard that every now and then they will get 300-500 cars if something is going on. I think last year we wen't the week after Edlebrock or somebody did some giveaway. I think they said there were about 350-400 cars there that week. If I knew what weekends those were it would be worth the drive for me. I know they have a website I guess I should check it once in a while.

When it starts to cool down some the attendance will go up. Sunshine and good temps really help the numbers. We see 300 cars regularly on those days.
