Which ramshorn manifold?

I have a 67 C20 with a small block. Which ramshorn exhaust manifolds should it should have. The ones that angle back or the straight down dumps. I'm pretty sure it should have the alternator mount cast into the driver side for 67 and 68. Looking for a replacement for the driver side. Thanks, ED67C20

I have the angle back for my c10 with 350/350TH. Not sure if it makes any difference with yours being a c20 but I prefer the angled back look.

Re: Which ramshorn manifold?

Thanks, guys. That's good news I used the right ones during the 292 to 350 swap. Now I need to find a good used one for the drivers side. It has a broken off bolt for the alternator pivot. I wasn't using a lower alternator bracket. Oops. Oh yeah, need a lower bracket too. Do they make reproductions that you know of? ED67C20

Re: Which ramshorn manifold?

Ed, you may not need a lower alternator bracket. Before I put headers on it, my 67 C20 had the pivot bolt into the manifold (with a couple of spacers ) and an upper bracket; that was the stock setup. Never had any problems with it that way. I think Chevy added more alternator brackets in 68, I don't know why.

Dorman makes reproduction manifolds. You can get them at any parts store that carries HELP products.

Re: Which ramshorn manifold?

Thanks kevmic28 and Tx firefighter. So is it 2wd has the angled back dumps? I could drill out that busted bolt if I didn't have to work for a living. It's my only running car right now. ED67C20

Re: Which ramshorn manifold?

Ed, is it the alternator mount bolt that is broken off into the manifold that's causing this problem ?

Does you cylinder head have threaded holes in the front of it for brackets to bolt to ?

Re: Which ramshorn manifold?

Tx firefighter, Yeah, that bolt is broken off down in the hole on the front of the manifold. Are they hard to drill out? I rigged a temporary bracket to get me going for now. No holes on the front of my cylinder head.
