an a vin # tell what tranny/tranfercase I got?

What can ya tell me?

Not much from the VIN. On the back of the glove box door you should have a sticker with that VIN and a list of options. If the description isn't clear post it and someone can decode that.

It lists everything except what the tranny and transfer case is. I know the tranny is a 3 speed.

Most likely a 3 speed Saginaw with an NP205. Does the t-case shifter look like this?

I don`t know what model to call the 3spd Saginaw.I`d assume it is the HD version.There is a heavy duty option for 2wds.They are both standard items on your truck and wouldn`t be listed on the SPID.

The previous owner replaced the transfer case shift nob with a wooden one, so I don't know what it looks like, sorry Blazer1970.
