drive shaft interchange?

Hello. im new to the site and my 67 swb step is new to me. i have a bad vibration @50-55 mph, found my drive shaft to be not quite straight. truck is running s 350,th350 combo. what other year model shaft will fit. thought if i had some options, finding one would be a bit easier. thanks for any and all help with this, it is greatlly appreciated.

I would pull the driveshaft and take it to a shop.
They will retube and balance it for around $100, turn around is usually
24hrs. I payed $120 and got new ujoints.

the prices fluctuate quite a bit from area to area, but I would recomend the same thing though.

I agree, it needs to be straightened and balanced or tube replaced. Another used one could be bent, too, and/or unbalanced. Cheaper in the long run to have a shop check it out.

Well i was in a hurry earlier today when i first posted, there is a little bit more going on underneath my truck. the shaft isnt riding through the center of the crossmember, more off to the pass side, and the output shaft of the trans seems to be a little sloppy. is the shaft supposed to be dead center in the crossmember? how much out of straight does the shaft have to be to cause a issue? i realize straight is straight but is there some tolerance? thanks again.
