If i could ask:

There is recent "controversy/debate" that gm should shut down buick/pontiac/gmc etc. and only have chevy-cadillac.

a) What is the real cost in having other, essentially duplicate brands? Specifically and for example how much more did it cost if any to put a gmc grill/hubcapbs/trim as opposed to chevy on a 1/2 ton pickup as both were assembled in the same plant with the exact same assembly persons?

b) What are your thoughts on the matter of "shutting down" brands, i.e., pontiac?
