Something is buggin' me!!

This has probably been discussed but why isn't a 2wd Blazer a C/5 instead of a K/5? Just curious.

I'd guess because they didn't produce enough to justify the costs. That or they were just lazy.

Blazers have been the k model up till they changed the name to taheo. so if had to guess its refers to the body type. k for blaz and c for trk.

Glad they didn't. If I told people I had a c/5 they'd think I had a corvette. Not that it's a bad thing to have a Vette.

But a 4wd truck is a K not C....K10-30...K1500-3500 except 87 trucks which 4wd are V10-30 all the way to the silverado style in 99. BUT K5 does sound cooler!!!! I was just curious thats all.

o yes you are right. well hopefuly some old general motors history buff chimes in and straightens us all out. they did have the silverado pakage in the 80's too. had the badges under the emblem and on the dash. I had an 84 c-10 scottsdale
