Truck run rough? Change the u-joints!
This may seem obvious, but I just had to post how much better my truck rides with new u-joints. Wow, what a difference... I always thought it was a combination of the 33s, 205, sm465 and stiff springs that made it rough at speed. Now it's pretty nice at 65mph.
Still a truck, of course...

Drive shaft? or front axle?
I am assuming that you are refering to the rear drive shaft and that you had a vibration of some kind... But be aware that if the front axle joints get stiff on you, replacing them will make a huge difference in the way it drives too. BTW, this is how it rides or drives......not how it runs.

Good point ont runs vs rides. I changed it in the body of the post, but can't change the title.
