Gas tank sending unit
I have the orignal tank and sending unit behind the seat but I have autometer gauges. Is there anything I can do to my sending unit so the gauge works correctly? Thank you.

Re: Gas tank sending unit
Kenny, what year model do you have. '66 is supposed to be 0-90 ohm, which may be what your autometer gauge is, but my '66 had an earlier 0-30 ohm sender. If you have a '65 or earlier, you should have the 0-30 unit. What is your gauge doing (or not doing)?

Re: Gas tank sending unit
Actually, the 0-90 ohm sender started in 67. There was someone posting on this site they could change the 30 ohm senders to 90 ohms.

Re: Gas tank sending unit
My gauge reads empty with the key on and full with the key off. I remember sending an email to a guy that re did them but I cant find the info I printed off.
