Rear inner splash shield?

The truck is a 72 GMC I have not been able to speak with previous owner yet,it has 20 inch wheels on it. The splash shield are removed, would that becaused of the 20 inch wheels?

Re: Rear inner splash shield?

ttt:

Do you mean rear wheel housings (#9) on the bed or the splash shields (#10)on the bottom behind the tires?

I've heard of some removing the rear wheel housing or tubs to make room for fatter tires but haven't heard of removing the splash shields for that reason.

Re: Rear inner splash shield?

What's the diameter of your rear tires? I wouldn't think the splash aprons would be a problem.
