Orrie, I have mine installed on a Camaro clip. But I do believe that if your valve covers clear the firewall, then the HEI will have plenty of room due to the large indention (sp)!!!!

Thanks Chuck your head clearance looks about like mine, so all should be well.

looks like you will be fine, but if you end up having clearance issues, a trick is to install the dist. without the cap, and then install the cap after the dist is already in the motor. also, some of the big dist. companies make small diameter hei's IIRC.
