Cantilever Lift System + Link System

Wassup Guys! Just wanted to see what you guys thought about using that SD cantilever lift system and a 3 link system. My only real conern with this is how can I implement this 3 link system without the bars interfering with the canti setup. I would have to have the Wishbone made closer so it doesnt interfere with the lift bars? I have pics of it on an S10 but it has an offset wishbone and is much closer side to side width wise, would that be the way to design mine. Obviously for my C10. Any help would be helpful.

Looks sik.....

I thought they had this on a C10 chassis, but now that I look for it I can only find it on the S10 one.

You could make it work though.....

Re: Cantilever Lift System + Link System

Wouldn't you just flip the wishbone around the opposite way?? so that the side with one end link is mounted to the rearend on of the pumpkin?

A wishbone can be ran both ways can't they? I have seen both

Re: Cantilever Lift System + Link System

I believe this is a Universal Lift System which makes even better. I would like to see more pics of people using this in a similar way also have a problem I have a Fuel Cell and would like to keep it in its current location center rear right in front of the diff, I think I may have to get a custom tank made if im going to use this system.

Re: Cantilever Lift System + Link System

Do you have pics of your frame with the tank location?

You could make an offset wishbone or something more custom/specific, then just a universal one...

Re: Cantilever Lift System + Link System

Actually its not even the wishbone im worried about its the Cantilever setup comes so far back that I may have to get a custom tank made and that can be $$$$ pricey.

Re: Cantilever Lift System + Link System

I think you should talk to Jason and tell him your plans. He should be able to tell you if it will or won't work.

As far as a custom built fuel cell, talk to forum member FuelCellGuy. He can fix you up for a very fair price.LINK
