Re: shaving 69 reflectors

On dodge trucks they used 2" round reflectors with screws in the middle.Like they ran out to the hardware store real quick at the last minute.

Re: shaving 69 reflectors

nobody is disrespecting or ignoring the law. all im saying is if it was mine, I would def shave them. a 67 doesn't come with them, but 69-72 does, well some of them. I find it very unlikely that a trooper, cop, or an inspector would actually notice or deny you inspection when all those years look exactly the same, except the front end. they have to be damn near an expert on these trucks to know that. but I guess it is possible. anywho, he already did it so oh well lol. this topic is getting pretty off topic....

Re: shaving 69 reflectors

All 69-72's (and 68's) have them from the factory. We dont have these safety inspections here so Im not positive how they work. My guess is if you were stopped by an officer it wouldnt be because you didnt have your side markers, and I doubt they would even notice.

But if you went in for a safety inspection...headlights...check, tail lights...check, blinkers front and rear...check, side markers...oops, well unless its a 67 when they didnt have them from the factory.

Im just speculating. As far as looks go, I like some with and I like some without, do what you want its your truck.

Re: shaving 69 reflectors

ya some do look good on there. I guess it just really depends on the color and style of the truck I was thinking of getting the reds one since mine will be painted black, but I decided against em since I didn't have em anyways.
