Starter wires?/

Ok Looking from the front of the truck so the drivers side is on the right! There are to small post on the starter selinoid(spelling?) I know that there is yellow wire and a purple wire. What one goes were???????

The purple goes on the S post closest to the block and the yellow goes on the R post on the outside.

The yellow is the resistor bypass wire that gives a full 12 V to the coil when cranking and isn't needed if you have converted to HEI.

cool there right, now next question when you sitting in side the truck and try to start it what way should the fan turn?? Counter clockwise?????
