Help please - dummy lights in 1979, installing gauges from 1975
I am certain this question has been posed before, but search does not seem to be working for me today.
I have a 1979 with dummy lights. I want to install a full gauge with tach setup from a 1975. Does anyone have a "how to" on this swap? Do I need to repin the connector on the back?

I belive if you change the senders to gauge senders. the tach im not sure about tho and a 75 cluster may be a mechanical oil pressure also...

Yo!
How about my '76 Camaro idiot light conversion to tach and gauges: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/639261/3 If you repin you risk the same intermittent problems that all these multipin connectors had. I rewired with individual M/F electrical connectors. Yes, senders must match what's put in the dash, tach plugs into the HEI directly. Todd.
