I need to change my starter and was told to find a mini starter or high torque mine starter from a newwer truck,but year did they come out.I was told they will fit,I have a 78 with a 70,s 454

91 or so...Also the bolts are shorter and the trans inspection cover is different. you might have to trim or get a donor one.
