Pic Request - 15x8 rally wheels with 275/60s

Our local Discount Tire currently has a deal for $100 off any 4 tires and then a $70 mail in rebate for BF Goodrich/Michelin Tires.

I talked to my local store and he said $390 out the door for 4 275/60/15s - then I get a $70 mail in rebate - so it will be ~$320 for a set of 4 new tires loaded on my rally wheels...

Curious to see a few pix and if I should have any trouble running this setup on a 70 C10 2wd?

Or I could go with a Michelin tire for another $60 rebate [friends and family] - but they don't make a 275/60 for our trucks - so I would need something like a 235/75 instead...

thats what I have on the back of my burb. The BFG tires are some of the smallest 275s I have ever seen, they are over an inch narrower than some Big O 275's I had years ago. The BFG ones are fine on the 8 inch rallys, but honestly, I wouldn't want some of the other brands in that size on an 8 incher.

Re: Pic Request - 15x8 rally wheels with 275/60s

I am running 275/60/15 BFG on my '72 with 10" convo's. I think the BFG's are the best choice. I have ran these on many of trucks and always had really good luck. As far as the width, I have always thought they were a premium tire and provide a nice wide footprint. My truck has some 275/60/15 PepBoys brand tires and when I put the BFGs on they were noticeably wider and drove better.
What tire shop is it with this promo? I need some new rubber before winter.

maybe they will honor it elsewhere - can't hurt to ask...

Thanks for the responses - looks like I might get some more tires this weekend.

I purchased BFGs from them a couple weeks ago and had them price match Summit to save a few extra bucks on top of the rebate.
