Question shock question

Years ago I looked for a coil over shock to go on the back of my truck, but couldn't find any available, so I just put regular Gabriels on. In a salvage yard the other day I saw a truck with coil overs on it, but were too rusted to make out the brand. Is there anyone out there that knows of an economical coilover that will fit? Also for the front, are there any suggestions a shock that will stop the front end from "diving" in the corners. Cnut

Re: shock question

You will damage your shock mounts with coil overs. The shock mounts were designed for normal shocks only, not the extra stress of coil overs. They rip out of the bottom on the rear and the top on the front even with normal shocks.
