digital gauges

Alright guys i regret sounding like a complete idiot however i know nothing about wiring. I recently aquired a set of the dakota digital gauges for my 82
and after taking the original gauges and bezel out I found myself in over my head....i read these were easy to install ...am i making this more difficult than it needs to be??? i have always been more of a visual person...and these instructions just arent doing it for me ...anyone have any visual references or ideas i have a feeling i just flustered myself and made it impossible to figure out
someone has got to be a good enough teacher to explain this crap to me
thanks

Re: digital gauges

You have to modify the cluster. Dont drop the gauges there glass. You will have to cut the plastic out of the carrier thats in the way of the dakota gauges. Take your time. Ill take some pictures of a dakota im doing in a 69 chevelle.
