another truck might be gone.

I drive pass this blazer everyday to work. It was park in the same spot for 3 weeks. One tire is flat now and a parking ticket on the windshield. Tires were marked with white chulk by the city. Next week it will be towed away. This is sux because I can't do anything about it. Maybe somebody here know who it belongs to?

Re: another truck might be gone.

did you knock on the door of the house it is in front of?
No point in complaining if you don't at least try to do something.

Re: another truck might be gone.

I didn't but my neighbour did. Nobody was home.We drove through the alley behind the house. We saw 3 67-72 cabs and bunch of other parts. I didn't want to get shot so no pics of the backyard. This guy either restores them or parts them out. I will try again next week.

Re: another truck might be gone.

Snooping around can get you shot around LA. At least leave the owner a note saying you will haul it away for him if he wants you to help him out. Geeze, if I had a trailer, I would camp out next to the truck until the owner showed up and try to negotiate a purchase.

It's was gone on Monday morning. Where is it park now? I do remember it was missing a front driveshaft. I still don't know who owns it.

Re: another truck might be gone.

look for the closest OPG (official police garage) towing center near that area..maybe phone book, and see if one of em got it. then see when it will come up for the auction to pay off the fines and it will be yours free and clear. i bought a ton of cars like that there for 100 to 400 bucks. and with that one missing engine and such..it will be less i bet then the 100. usually cheap vehicles are auctioned off in a tad over 30 days.
