Emissions removal, charcoal canister
Hello all,
I have a 1984 GMC swb 4x4, I just installed a ZZ4 crate engine with a serpentine belt system. I left all the emissions on the old motor and was wondering about the gas tank vent that went to the charcoal canister. Can I cap off the vent line or will the tank build up pressure? The new engine came with a fuel pump that has no bypass, so I already had to cap off the bypass line from the tank. If I cap off the vent that will leave me with one line from the tank to the fuel pump, will this work? Thanks, Dale |
