Hi, does gmc 350 fact small blk have hyd tappets, installing an High perf camshaft?

if it's a 1973 stock 350 it should have hydraulic lifters

a racing cam has a higher lift which opens the valve wider and longer duration which holds the valve open longer than a stock cam. if you aren't sure what cam you want to use , go to the summit racing or jegs.com and talk to there tech people they will be able to tell what would be best for your engine,and what you want to do with it.
