side marker ?

Side marker question: does the blub go to the front closest to the front or rear closest to the door? same for rear also blub to the rear?

I'm not sure what's correct and original, but I put my front marker bulbs to the front and my rear marker bulbs to the rear.

bulbs in the front to the front. bulbs to the rear on the rear.
