Where to get filler to gas tank hose

I've tried a couple of local boat places for "3 feet of 1-1/2" filler hose" but have not had any bites yet. Is there another key word I need to use to get a section of the filler hose?

Thanks

I just did this 2 weeks or so ago - take all your lines to NAPA and they will cut them to length for you - you might as well replace the clamps if they are old and crappy while you are doing it.

I replaced my tank lines, vent lines and the fuel line (hard line to tank connection) on my Blazer...pix can be found here:

Total cost for all the lines and the clamps was like $35-40 (from memory).

Re: Where to get filler to gas tank hose

That hose can be hard to get depending on where you live. I got mine from a local rubber hose supply company. See if you have any in your area.

A while back I got some for another boardmember and mailed it to him as he couldn't find any locally. If you can't find it and you want me to get it for you, let me know by PM.

I got that boardmember 3 feet and the cost was just under $31.00 for 3 feet and I sent it parcel post at $8.04 with an expected delivery of about 5-6 days so I would expect that would be pretty close to what it would cost to get it to you.

I had a box on hand that was useable but if I can't find a box the right size laying around you would have that extra expense too.

You could also call this company I have bought from and see if they can ship it direct to you - Rubber Supply Incorportated - 316-265-3257. Just make sure they know it is the fuel rated hose - they have it in stock.

Yeah, NAPA or CARQUEST, those types of parts stores carry fuel hose. Good Luck!

Re: Where to get filler to gas tank hose

Thanks guys, I just remember this being a PITA the last time needed to find a hose and thought I remember someone getting one at a boat shop. In the end good old trusty NAPA was able to order me one and have it here tomorrow.

Thanks again

Those hoses are not cheap!!
Just a quick FYI.... if your working on one of our years of Blazers the fuel hose is 1-3/8" not 1-1/2". I discovered that after I spent $ on 3ft of 1-1/2"...

Re: Where to get filler to gas tank hose

I am getting ready to switch my tank and I went to hell and back to get 3ft of 1 3/8 flexible fuel hose with the metal in it. Even marinas had a hard time getting it. Finally found it on line.
