70 K20 Wheel backspacing Q?

Hey all,
So my K20 needs new shoes and am thinking about ditching my 16.5 rims for a set of 15x10 cragars. Id like to get a set of 35x12.50's and am wondering about backspacing. The truck does have a 3 inch body lift and I wanted to know what y'all think would be better...With a four inch backspaced wheel...will I need a spacer? Im doing searches as we speak but cant find an answer.... Don't me bro!!

You should beable to get away with a 4"BS, but I would test fit before you buy.
Good choice in ditching the 16.5 wheels, unless they are beadlocked you can't run below 15psi without loosing a bead..anyway

8 lug 15" ? if so, you will have to do some grinding on the calipers ...

Re: 70 K20 Wheel backspacing Q?

What would the best size wheel be to run with 8 lug, 14 bolt large drum, disk in the front? Sounds like 15=modifications, 16.5= beadless tires= chance of roll off at low pressures.

Are any diameters better for tire selections (price and quality wise)?

Someday I will do my 8 lug swap and have wondered about what wheels to run.

Thanks in advance.
