Re: what did you get done 9/13/09 edition

I got the electric fans from the donor truck, but the setup is too wide. I'm gonna hit the bone yards this weekend and get a mechanical fan.

72Super - I am going to need to recover from this install first!

I did stop and look at a 86 stepper. It's not as clean as it looks, but not too bad. It could use some love.
What's the asking price and how is it equipped? I know someone in TX who's looking for a stepper.

You got it. I still need to figure out what I need to do to level it out. I could drop the front but ground clearance is an issue. Or I could raise the rear but I have come to love where it sits in the back.

Re: what did you get done 9/13/09 edition

it's been rainign here for the greater part of the week...

ummm well it stopped this afternoon and i opened my cab up..
AND NO NEW RUST! yaaaaaayyyy!
im happy about that one..

but then i realised that LMC once again SENT ME THE WRONG STUFF! soo instead of calling i'll just go to the damnned fastenall..
jerks..

i made a heat shield for my "pollack vaulve" tank selector vaulve...
the tards who routed my exhaust.. (yeah the tards i paid money to) put it way the hell to close...
allready cooked one valve.. so new shiny heat shield is in yaaaaayyyy....

then i cut off the "ild" exhaust hangers and weded on my heavy dooodie ones that arent going to disentigrate over and over again yaaaayyy
and promptly noticed no mattter how i put them turn em beat them the pipes will either hit my t case or stay "uneven" so...
i went with the not hitting my t case aspect...

im glad i moved because i am very annoyed with this exhaust shop... dicks...

Re: what did you get done 9/13/09 edition

I thought about working on my truck, then I realized I don't have any money to put into it,so I used the little bit of money I did have into further destroying my liver and killing brain cells.
