87 swb, 4x4, 21k original miles
What is it worth. It's my dads, and I was there when he got it 12 years ago. I know most of you will say 121k miles, but it is 21k. It had 19k when he got it. 305 fuel injected. He just changed the original tires due to cracking. I will post pics soon. I told him I would ask cause he is wanting to sell it. Thanks in advance.

The 305 will hurt the value.

Re: 87 swb, 4x4, 21k original miles
Value ..... what a subjective subject. Pre economy bust your Pops truck would have had unlimited value ...... someone would give good cake for it. Right now it would appear that lots of folks are keeping their hand close to the vest & not spending that disposable income. Check muscle car prices .... vehicles that where $50K aren't selling for $20.K ....... good market for BUYERS not as good for sellers (IMO).
The truck isn't a "rare" item sans the low miles. I think given the fact that it is the original owner will add some cash back into it. I'd say $5-7500.00 -IMO. Ratty 46 |

I agree Ratty. I told him to sit on it for 3 more years and see what happens.

That my friend is a good idea .... just keep the miles down if he intends to cash in. Leave it as stock as possible too.
He'll run across a person that WANTS that vehicle. Best of luck. Ratty 46 |

Re: 87 swb, 4x4, 21k original miles
Here are some crappy pics. My dad is definitely not a photographer. I talked to him just a little bit ago and he is going to take some more pics. Oh and I did ask him again about the mileage and it is 19,7hundred something not 21k.

Re: 87 swb, 4x4, 21k original miles
I'd tell him to do SOMETHING with it, if he has had it 22 years and put 20K on it, thats just hundreds of miles per year. He obviously doesn't use it. IMO someone..... anyone, should be using that truck. (If they have cash, of course)
