Re: North Texas Guys.
I'm planning on being there Saturday. The swap meet is fairly decent, it takes up a lot of the infield of the speedway so there's lots to see.

Re: North Texas Guys.
I was considering going. Do they allow you to take your own wagons in?
I saw on the flyer that they woul be renting them but it said nothing about bringing your own. |

Re: North Texas Guys.
Lots of people take their own. In fact, I don't recall seeing them rent anything but scooters for people that have trouble walking.

Re: North Texas Guys.
I checked out the website for the event, you gotta pay to get your truck or car onto the field. I think it was $70 for the weekend, $35 for Sunday. http://www.good-guys.com/news/newsSt...px?newsid=1382

Re: North Texas Guys.
I think he meant "wagon", as in Red Flyer, to pull parts around with.

Re: North Texas Guys.
The swap meet isn't normally that good....usually a bunch of really overpriced stuff. However the show is great! I'll be out there Friday afternoon, and all day Saturday and Sunday with the truck.

I plan on going on Saturday. As far as I know you can still bring in coolers and wagons.

We will be out there Fri, Sat and Sun. I usually bring a wagon to tote the kids in so I'm sure you could bring in a wagon as a parts hauler.

Re: North Texas Guys.
I was out there Friday after lunch 'till 5-ish. Picked up an air cleaner @ the swap meet for my 64 project. I'm going to try & get back out there this afternoon if I can get away from work soon enough.
There didn't seem to be that many 'award' winning vehicles yesterday so I'm guessing (hoping) there will be a few more today.

Re: North Texas Guys.
I went Friday afternoon. The weather was great indeed. I noticed there was a ton of Chevelles out there. I probably saw a dozen and a half 67-72's.

There were a bunch of very nice rides out there. Seem to me like it was the year for awesome interiors.
