I am not sure you meant "73 frame, but if you did it is possible but not real easy.
I met a guy once that put a '53 Chevy body an early '80's 4 by 4 frame. He did a good job, but said it took a while. Danny

so did the 3/4 ton chevy not come with leaf springs in 70? cause I have one, it looks stock...
