Blazer 4wd to 2wd question???
I have a 1980 2wd drive blazer rolling chassis. I want to put this under a 1987 4x4 blazer to make it 2wd. This would probaly be easier than change all that suspension, right???

Yep, but you will have to change some 2 or 4 body mounts but it's not hard. That's what I have been told.

Re: Blazer 4wd to 2wd question???
having swapped the front suspension on one and the cab on another i would say the cab was difficult because of size and weight but easier than the suspension swap.

Re: Blazer 4wd to 2wd question???
I have got a 2 post lift and square body parts coming out my ears!!! Just trying to figure out easiest route. Anybody else know about swapping body mounts? I even have a rolling lwb truck frame to put that body on while I am working on the chassis.

Re: Blazer 4wd to 2wd question???
I think you might be able to swap the bodies like you are suggesting. On the later model bodies, I am almost positive the bodies are the same. The earlier tubs had a few different mount configurations, but I think you are good.
