Hood Hinge..Aftermarket vs OE
My hood hinges are ready for the scrap yard so I'm looking for new ones. Every pivot point on mine is worn slam out. Both OE and aftermarket are available with a price difference of about a hundred bucks for the pair. I've removed the springs and use a prop rod, it's the only way I can keep the back of the hood laying flat.
Which ones do you guys have experience with? Thanks! Bryan

Re: Hood Hinge..Aftermarket vs OE
If these are anything like the67-72 models, go with the OEM. The aftermarket ones on the 67-72 are way weak, so I would imagine it is the same for the 73-87 models.
