Project: Cheap Yellow Bastard

I started building up my freinds old chevy. Started out as a stock 350 4speed half ton on bald 33's. After he tried to wheel with me in my jeep (visible in background) he decided he needs to "up-grade". I pretty much gave him my spare 396 and 8 lug dana 44 front and dually dana 70 rear. He bought some used 39" mickey thompsons and some 8 lug 15" wheels. Now hes after my dana 60 front which belongs to my 71, also visible in pics. I dont have pics of the stock truck, use your imagination we all see them everyday.

We pulled the 350 and put in my 396 with new heavy duty clutch and flywheel.

we cut the fenders out pretty far. found a set of front lift springs off a old dodge ramcharger at the boneyard. but there only 2.5" wide instead of 3". o well. thats what washers are for. we put a 4.5" block in the rear. we had to make custom spring plates for the 4" axle tube. We welded up the 4.10 geared dana 70 diff. The wheels have only 2.5" of backspacing on a already wide 73" wms dually rearend. this thing is WIDE. Now we are contemplating instead of my 8 lug dana 44 to put in, he wants my dually dana 60 front. it will be especially wide. But im not ready to part with it, yet. Im a good freind huh?

If you have the url of where the pic is hosted just put this in on either end...

[ img]www..blabityldhgibeivb.con [/img ]

...the img brackets will post the pic, just take out the extra spaces i put in.

Re: Project: Cheap Yellow Bastard

probably took up too much space to host them here, so in order to put pics up you'll have to link from another site, ie photobucket, myspace, etc....

I don't think we can post pics right now because there's no "manage attachments" button. I think their having problems with the site, It will probably be fixed within a few days.
