Re: What did you do to your truck today?
I have a list of things the truck NEEDS, then I have a list of things the truck WANTS. I start with the needs list, but it ends up with "While I have the <whatever> off, might as well replace the <whole list of other things>"
I guess I'll worry if I get to a point of buying more than one things for the same thing.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Barely enough paint for the firewall, put some things on just to see how it looks with the new hardware
I think it will look pretty good when it's all done.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Went ahead and yanked the cab off the frame since I'd recently pulled the front clip; found dirt/rust stockpile in the old heater…

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Got the door handles mounted. I decided to have a matched set of locks so I won't always have to go through the passinger door to get in.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Set the alarm so we can wake up & work on the truck tomorrow. Fuel & Water pumps to be replaced, as well as having the rear-end checked out. We're moving, and want to use PJ (66 Panel) as originally intended by the manufacture. A cargo truck.

I did nothing to my 65 today, because I still haven't found it.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
got the brakes squared away, figured out the travel on the vacuum assist and the master cylinder, finally got the brakes bled, had to have brakes before we fire it up........and take it to the exhaust and front end shops. did get the fuel tank in, and the filler neck, and the door in the bed.....had problems with the tailgate paint-----we think it is just too da........ hot and the paint lifted when we tried to remove the masking tape around the letters. Oh well no one said it was doing to be easy...........Just put fuel in it, had to run out and get a remote starter button--------

Air compressor was acting up trying to load on trailer because tags were out. Caught the muffler on trailer and snap. |

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Verified that it was an out-of-round tire causing a bounce in the rear end. Found out we have air-shocks in the rear. We also have just about 100% original truck.. including the muffler lol. That truck runs QUIET. Pics later..
