I am wanting to replace the granny 4 speed with a Th700R4. I am wondering if a cross member out of a 73-79 auto truck would work. I have the 4spd cross member cut up so I could mock this up, but am just checking to see if I can save myself some fabrication. Anyone ever dealt with this?
Thanks

Yes I put a 700r4 in my '78 which came factory with at TH350. Any auto crossmember will work. Just get the correct mount for a 700R4
